What Discord Bookmarks and Reminders do
Bookmarks are a native Discord feature. You right-click a message on desktop or in the browser, or long-press it on mobile, and choose Bookmark Message. Saved messages appear in a Bookmarks tab in the Inbox (on mobile, under Notifications), and you can keep up to 200 of them.
From the same menu, Create Reminder brings a message back after a delay you pick from a list, or at a date and time of your own. The reminder shows when it is due, and you edit it, mark it complete or remove it yourself.
Discord's help center describes the feature as experimental and available to a limited number of Nitro members, so it is a paid, per-person feature that not every Nitro subscriber has yet.

They do different jobs. Bookmarks keep any message you decided to come back to; Mention Reminder tracks the direct pings still waiting on you, without anyone saving anything. If you bookmark a message that also mentioned you, our reminder clears once you reply, and your bookmark stays until you remove it.
According to Discord's help center the feature is experimental and available to a limited number of Nitro members, so it can be missing even with Nitro. Mention Reminder does not depend on it: covered members get reminders in their private thread as soon as an admin has added the bot.
Discord allows up to 200 saved messages, so you may need to tidy the list. Mention Reminder items clear after your reply, reaction, manual completion or deletion of the source message. They remain if you have not responded.
